I wonder what Algore and others of the AGW crowd will think of this. Of course, NOAA is not a part of the UN so maybe they just speak truth and forget about global warming. There is a chance that they just don't understand the newer methods of weather forecasting that comes from the Warmers.
You know there's a difference between AGW and Climate Change, right?
Which, the climate of Earth always has and always will change.
I, particularly, am enjoying the change in my city's climate. Growing up, we had a light dusting of snow (more like bad dandruff) every 4 or 5 years with only one actual snowstorm that I can remember. Now? We get a decent amount of snow every year. I attribute the change to two things: The disabling of Pat Robertson's anti-snow machine and natural changes in the climate.

I agree. The climate will change whether man has an influence or not. Climate change is real, the question is, does man have any significant influence or not? My take is, no, man's effects are less than what we are led on to believe and the solutions are laughable at best, if they weren't so bad to begin with
Warmer ocean temperatures cause extra moisture to enter into the atmosphere through water evaporation. The natural oscillation of ocean currents which creates la nina and el nino systems will lead to wetter conditions in the northern hemisphere and drier conditions in the southern hemisphere. Due to the tilt of the earth's axis, the current pattern of oscillation will coincide with the period of earth's orbit when the northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, which is what is commonly known as winter, which means colder weather in general. When there's more atmospheric moisture during colder weather, the resulting precipitation is more likely to take the form of snowfall.

The answer to your question is NO, they do not know the difference, no matter how many times it has been explained to them, some people only see and hear what they want. It is called selective learning and everytime you see one of these "there is no such thing" threads you will find many examples of it, beginning with the original post. I gave up long ago trying to discuss this issue with the above mentioned crowed, especially when you come to understand that these are also the same people that want to get rid of the EPA, allow big businesses to do the right thing when dealing with their pollution, drill baby drill without regulations, cut all the forests down, destroy our national parks through mining, drilling and cutting and are basically believers in Manifest Destiny. No they are not going to listen and the goal is only to spread propaganda on behalf of their masters, it is what Pawns do, not listen to facts.
The right thing to do is take care of the place we live, keep our impact to a minimum since after all it is the Only place we can and we are only the caretakers, if we do not, Mother Nature has ways of dealing with pests.

Lets see, we HAVE Impacted the oceans and waterways, we HAVE Impacted the air, we HAVE Impacted the animal and plant life and we HAVE Impacted the Land. BUT, we Cannot Impact the Climate, hmmmmmm
The Logic I use comes up with a different answer, maybe I should review the facts again, .................., nope still comes back to the same conclusion, we Can Impact the Climate and most likely Already Have.
The new analysis by the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature project examined 1.6 billion temperature reports from 15 data archives stretching back over 200 years in an effort to address scientific concerns raised by climate skeptics about the data used to inform reports published by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
