I agree with this. Our troops should not be the enforcers for Big Oil or Repomen for the IMF.

I agree so much... aren't our troops supposed to fight for OUR freedom? Not Iraq's. Not Libya's. OURS. I'm kind of sick of all our presidents abusing our military like that.

If our troops were fighting for our freedom, they'd be on the steps of the White House and Congress.

But just look at all our government has accomplished in the last decade or so by keeping them involved in the business of others.
Even FDR would be jealous.

Ron Paul is the only candidate I hear talking about bringing them home.

The only GOP candidate calling to bring our troops home is Paul. Why is this not a big campaign issue? This is an error where Obama has failed, but GOP candidates are capitalizing. Why not? Why not put pressure on him.

Where is the call from Congress to stop funding for the wars?

Yeah but half the neocons would have done the same thing if they were put into Obama's situation unfortunately. Neocons give conservatives a bad name.

For once hotair, I agree with you.

Our noble Marshall class whether they be Canadian or American are to be respected and not abused...to send them off for years at a time and have them return "enlightened" only to say "that was not worth the effort" - states one thing - That those that have the power to deploy our Marshall class - have no respect for soldiers - they just dupe and use them - If someone does not respect you - you should not respect them...RESPECT is the mutual trasphere of power - If the oil guys expect soldiers to empower them - the deal should be that they empower..the soldiers also -

But they do not - the oil guys and their political henchman - actually think that the fighting man and woman are blue collar trash and to stupid to understand they are being abused - THEY ARE NOT STUPID - they are noble - and the mis-use of good people bares a price - they will NOT fight for you again.

.
Well I strongly agree with you on this.

Lest we forget.

As of today, we have lost 6,285 men and women in our military to these wars. This does not include the men and women who have come home disabled.

So - you all hate America? Is that what you're saying?

'cause that's what people told me when I said the same thing from 2003-2009...
