I detest how SMUG Canadians have become. Here in New England I grew up with a lot of Canadian familes from PEI & elsehere....great people, but that was a different generation of people. From what I see of younger Canadians posting out here, well, it's troubling

Really now? You have been watching too many made in the USA John Wayne war movies. The US was just a bit late entering the war in Europe don't ya think? Almost three and a half years late.
September 10, 1939 - Canada declares war on Germany; Battle of the Atlantic begins.
December 11, 1941 - Hitler declares war on the United States.
January 26, 1942 - First American forces arrive in Great Britain.
