Bigger birds in central California, courtesy of global climate change
What on earth do birds in Australia have to do with birds in California? Are you an oil company shill? If you are you should come up with something that at least make some sense.

You just linked two different studies, one was from Australia and the other was from California. The bird species were different in both studies. Nice try.

Well, isn't "global warming" a phenomenon effecting the WHOLE planet, according to the AGWarmists, that is?
SO one year, they blame birds getting smaller on GW, and then a couple years later, birds get bigger because of global warming. Get it now?

You're right, "global warming" affects the entire planet. That's why the change in weather patterns in California and Australia will have different effects on species in those areas. If the two climates were the same to start and were close by each each other, you may have a point, but they are not. So you have no point. Get it now?

Oh, but remember, "weather" is not "climate. But, how do you know the weather pattern in those two areas are different? If the planet is warming (it's not, btw) what difference would location make?
Can't have it both ways - shrinking birds due to global warming, bigger birds due to global warming. get it now?

May I remind you of some fundamental, universal truths .... such as .... you cannot reason with a drunk who's had too much to drink ... and that holds true for Kool-Aide drinkers as well.
I'm sure you've had to notice by now that those who believe this nonsense about CO2 ALSO embrace many other things that don't make a great deal of rational sense? In fact, with rare exceptions, it is almost always the same usual suspects that can be found on the opposite side of just about EVERY other topic debated on this forum. Therefore, believing in AGW is not really the problem these people have ... it's just another symptom of a much deeper problem.
Now if you ask me what that deeper problem is, I'd just suggest that you consider the most obvious and simple answer as the most likely

Sure they can. If they can believe that the same mechanisms that cause warming to occur also causes cooling to occur ..... then it only makes sense that global warming can be responsible for whatever they want it to be responsible for.
Heads I win, tails you lose ..... care to flip the coin again? Just to be fair, they'll make it 2 out of three?

With all due respect Sanrene I already pointed out the example that if the earth warms, Ireland will ironically freeze. This happened before when the north atlantic was shut down by a mass of fresh water flowing into the north atlantic during the last ice age.
So, again...regardless of cause....if the average temperature increases there will be places that maybe get more rain and some that get less rain and so on and so forth. For some animals this might be a bounty of food and for others it might mean less food.
Heck, anyone that has hunted here in the US knows that a mild or hard winter here in the US will mean more or less of certain species in the spring and summer. So, if Austrailia has a drought and has skinny pidgeons or whatever that doesn't mean the US turkeys in Missouri are going to be skinny.
You can argue that it's not happening or that it's happening and it's not caused by man....but your course of logic that these two studies contradict each other is flawed.
This is a good article....it explains alludes to how the glaciers melting 12,000 years ago due to warmer temps actually caused the conveyor to stop and COOLED other parts of the planet.
