What explains that there is 0% chance for a black woman to be raped by a white man, but 1600% chance for a non-white rapist of a white woman to be a black man? Or is that just pointless crying?

The cultural differences explain the 27.4/100,000 forcible rape rate in 95.79% white Iowa compared to 18.9/100,000 in 48.5% Hispanic Los Angeles, right? Both are about the same population, so there must be something else going on in Iowa... oh yeah, the cultural differences.

To some extent, you are correct. But the crime in this op has nothing to do with unemployment. Isn't that like saying, hire me or I'm going to hurt someone?
From what I read, the girl that was murdered was trying to intervene between two others, to be the mediator.
13% of the population but 50% of the homicides. Black crime is way out of control.
What might help is if a certain sub culture is addressed . And that is the thug/Gangsta rap nonsense.
Some kids can watch or listen to pro violence and not be affected, others cannot and are affected.
Gang culture often glorifies killing, disrespect and violence toward it's own and that often times is Black and Latino peoples.
Most White or Asian violent media is not focussed solely on it's own, but towards others.
Cultural differences, poverty and lack of opportunities are contributing factors, just like single mother households ( meaning less income also) and lack of suitable male role models.
I'm not making excuses for it as there are plenty of people in the same situation that rise above this.
The higher levels of crime in certain communities need to be addressed as it affects EVERYONE in the end.
Social services/welfare also needs to be revamped and other societal issues need to be looked at because at the rate we are going at we will have a permanent underclass of misfits that will hinder the quality of life for all people around them.

Here's the issue...
We (African Americans) do not disagree with the fact that something must be done to curb acts of violence. However, we simply happen find the agenda of the messenger (due to previous expressions of his opinions) suspect. There is zero benevolence in the feigned "concern".
They don't compare that's the problem. You have one student who was deemed insane and another that is a domestic violence issue. More importantly all of the crimes cited involve men as the aggressors, men are by far more violent than women.
Here we have two separate cases of women reacting with deadly violence as a result of normal disputes. This is very atypical.
It's really sad that the black community chooses to get defensive when these type of incidents present themselves on a regular basis instead of admitting a problem and addressing it.
