By using the term "magical skymen'', or my favorite, ''sky-daddy's'' and calling people who believe in a higher power ignorant, your making my point. People have an inclination to believe in a higher power and when they don't believe in magical skymen, they have an unfortunate tendency to make gods out of people or society, and that leads to very bad things.
LOL..What the hell are you talking about? There is no dogma with atheism. An atheist simply does not believe in gods, period. There are no extra rules or "commandments". Religions are dogmatic by design. They seek to control minds with ridiculous unchangeable rules that most of the followers ignore be they good or vile. So, believing in your own made up god is now better than worhipping a real live person?? LOL..They're both absolutely ridiculous but at least the people worshippers can point to their god, while skyman worhippers have nothing, zero, ziltch but one of many old insidious books to desperately cling to. That's what leads to bad things. When a man can excuse himself of responsibility by claiming his invisible, inaudible skypappa "told him to ____" is when bad things are a comin.

If you've been to the CAIR website you'd know this is exactly what they instruct of Muslims in the USA.

What atheists share is a lack of belief. The idea that one can form dogma dogma on that basis is rather silly. Or do you somehow imagine atheists going to non-services in non-churches, where a non-preacher communicates the atheistic dogma to the non-congregation from the non-pulpit?

Perhaps if people could shake the idea that they need a father figure to rule over them, we could progress.

And men at least are known to be mortal and fallible. When people claim to have the gods on their side, they tend to lose all inhibition - after all, if you're fighting for the Supreme Being, no method can be out of bounds.
