Polls, I don't need no stinkin polls to tell me who is sabotaging our economy by blocking open discusssion.

Obama's ideology cannot tolerate compromise. His shovel ready projects even made him snicker and now he changes the name of a duplicate failed shovel ready project scam and tries to seel it even though his emergency action won't have any impact until 2015.

Harry Reid refuses to discuss legislation proposed by the Repubs. You would think if the proposals are so bad, Harry would want the world to them and expose the repubs nefarious intentions.

Obama had the gift of both dem controlled houses and they did not even pass a budget. It almost appears Harry is a lineman that blocks for Obama to justify Obama's end runs arounf congress.

2005 - "Obama speaks and declares using the nuclear option will put an end to democratic debate and the gridlock will only get worse. "

"The American people want less partisanship in this town, but everyone in this chamber knows that if the majority chooses to end the filibuster - if they choose to change the rules and put an end to democratic debate - then the fighting and the bitterness and the gridlock will only get worse."

Obama bypasses Congress, passes Obamacare by nuclear option while Reid blocks proposed legislation to avoid discussion and wonders why there is gridlock?????? Seems like planned gridlock to me.

Whats funnier is they want MORE of this.

Liberal: Please give me more spending, more deficits, higher debts, as long as we have someone else to blame for them or have a villian like the rich. And when we get everything we want, and the results are a complete disaster, as we were told it would be, we'll hope the GOP gets elected so we can whine and pretend it all happened under their watch.

Clearly the American people don't believe anything they've done addresses their concerns, which seems to point to the Republican Tea Party's inability to effectively legislate.

And you lack the ability to address the comments made here on this thread by numerous posters.

New data suggests that about half the country, including a majority of self-identified independents, believe that congressional Republicans are using their political power to thwart Obama’s efforts to reduce unemployment.

Clearly the factual data from the polls doesn't support your opinion.

Please provide a list of the spending cuts the dems have proposed.

And a list of the programs they want to end.

Well of course polls reflect opinions, not facts. No one can produce any evidence Republicans blocked anything that would have helped the economy. Thems the facts jack.

So you admit the Republican Tea Party has been ineffective since taking the House?

Interesting.
Is it your suggestion now that we should govern by polls?

The polls say either 50% or "almost" 50% believe this. That leaves 50% or slightly more than 50% who believe that it's Obama's suckitude that's doing it.
