Socialists voted out in Spain as Conservatives win seats (polls, health care, party)

Right up behind Greece and Italy looms Spain and their debt crisis.
The voters are putting conservatives (not by American standards though) into office in hope of getting the country back on track.

Let's see if Spanish Conservatives will institute a flat tax, lower taxes for billionaires, kill national health care, get rid of unions, etc..

The IMF already set their rules just like in the other debt ridden countries.
It's now up to them to implement.

Conservatives in America would be classified as Fascists in Europe. On the other hand, Liberals in America would be classified as conservatives in Europe. Hence this is a win for Liberals.

The ruinous socialists got tossed out and in their place, a MORE conservative government. I wouldn't call that a win.

"Conservatives" not by American standards can mean something rather scary. Whereas American Conservatives believe in liberty, freedom, small government, and the US Constitution, in other countries that isn't the case.

A Spanish default is guaranteed then. Ironically, the only way to solve Europe's debt problem is more debt...they need more borrowing and quantitive easing. If they do austerity, the economy is finished. I don't have much hope for the Spanish economy with the results of this election.
