Do you believe America's actions in protection of it's interests should be subject to a global test?

It's never a dull day when jujulu is starting threads.

Why don't you be a little more specific, ju. Your question was WAY too broad to garner any sort of actual answer.

Jujulu, of course not!

We are a sovereign nation. Sorry we're not perfect but speaking of test, when I test all other nations next to ours, very few of them as much as match-up to us.

No. We, like every other sovereign nation, have every right to spread, defend, and protect our interests in and around the world, regardless of what anyone else says. The US, like every other nation, goes to the UN and the "international community" always and only as a courtesy.

Yes. Makes me wonder why we have so many interests in the rest of the world... Could it be that our corporations want to protect their interests and use our government and our military to protect those interests? Yes, it could be. Why, yes it is!

Unless there's imminent danger to the US proper or to its citizens, our military and economic actions abroad should be subject to foreign review. And vice versa. Either we communicate and cooperate with our neighbors or they'll burn our house down just like they've burned down all the other houses occupied by aholes. No brainer.

Don't know about the "corporations" part (some people are obsesed with them), but I am an isolationist at heart. We should have our own independent economy (as opposed to the "global economy" and integrated world banking/financial system), and have our own energy resources so that we can once again be an independent and self-sufficient nation so that we don't have to depend on the world for anything.

When another country's military can kick our asses, then they can have a say in what we do. Until then, foutre toi.
