It was the deregulation of the financial sector that got them into this mess, just like in the USA.
Can you explain why if deregulation is so great, then why did it lead to the collapse of the deregulated US financial sector in 2008 that 'required' taxpayers to bail out Wall Street to the tune of a trillion dollars??
Keep in mind, financial deregulation occurred during the Bush years and lead to the near collapse of the US economy by the end of his 2nd term, in 2008. And now the US government is bankrupt thanks to the bailouts.
Actually your king, Obama, voted for all of the bailouts of the big banks (his biggest donors).
But you never hear that from Mr. Maddow or Ken "less than 45,000 viewers per night" Olbermann.
