The weekend slaying of Palestinian protester Mustafa Tamimi prompted controversy with a top Israeli military spokesman mocking the death on Twitter, but is also drawing increasing scrutiny after his uncle reports that he was deliberately shot in the face by Israeli forces with a gas grenade. Israeli peace activists say the military violated its own rules by attacking protesters from within armored vehicles. The military insists they amounted to “rioters.”
I am sure that Al Jazeera won't try to explain how throwing rocks at soldiers is peaceful demonstration but here they say that the demonstration was peaceful although those demonstrators were throwing rocks at the soldiers. Would the poor man have been hit in the face by that tear gas grenade if he had been seated somewhere instead of standing among rock throwers. How in hell can you people keep talking about peace activists being being peaceful when they are throwing rocks at the soldiers? I just can't understand your reasoning.

BTW, what has Newt to do with this story?
