A lovely example of the civic beauty of gov't artwork. It's a beautiful rooftop garden on top of a temporary construction trailer, executed at the cost of only $11,000. From Sound transit, a mass transit agency here.

Washington state has a 'one percent for art' law that requires that 1 pct of spending on projects be devoted to art. We've gotten some interesting results from this law over the years.
