I had to watch this a few more times to register it because even I had a hard time believing this...I was in disbelief..

I'm the fourth best president in American history Barack Obama

I was going to let it slide when he said "Modern History"...I thought to myself "OK, maybe he is just ranking himself with recent 'modern' presidents".....then he said "with the exception of Johnson, FDR and Lincoln".....wait...so he went as far back as to Lincoln to rank himself?...so when I watched it yet again....this is what hit me " "I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R.,and Lincoln -- just in terms of what we've gotten done in modern history"

WTF?

Does he really think he accomplished that much?..can he at least wait to see if he would be re-elected to his second term before making such a statement?...declaring yourself among the greatest presidents in history before the American people even decide to reelect you is outright arrogant.

Unbelievable, but not surprising. History will tell the truth.

As a President Obama supporter, I do admit that statement sounds pretty arrogant. I like him, but he is more "20 to 25' best, if that.

He is only living up to what I discerned about him, after voting for him.....unmitigated arrogance....I had hoped for more.

Obama has accomplished a lot. I understand that you guys don't like what he has done, but if you think about it and are honest about it, you can't deny what he has done. He achieved health care reform, the repeal of DADT, the complete withdrawl from Iraq, the death of Bin Laden, stimulus packages, and the auto industry bailout. All of those are major landmark pieces of legislation. He has a point about being one of the most productive presidents in modern history.

The only one of which that was a positive was the killing of Bin Laden and it took him a week to decide to have the seals do it.
