May I just point out that the statistics that the article is talking about were from the New York Times? When did we start listening to anything they say? The actual article is from a website made by a progressive.
Esp. the Christian poor who live in trailers, drink moonshine and consistently vote for RWNJ's like palin and think bristol is a good speaker for "teen moms".

Nobody has said anything about political parties being a factor for why teenage girls get pregnant. What was said was - teenage pregnancy is higher in conservative, red states. Which is obviously true according to the date presented; regardless of race; class or any other half assed, half baked excuse you're trying to rub out the truth with. Being Black, Latino or poor has nothing to do with the fact that they're still pregnant teenagers.
And by the way; the underlying cause for teen pregnancy: Teenage girls on their backs, teenage boys on top of them.
Unless you're implying that nearly every teenage pregnancy in these states is caused by rape or all of them becoming the virgin Mary. Somehow, I think the horny teenagers not using protection efficiently is the correct answer.

Yet you're implying that these things occur in Red states, making the inhabitants mostly conservative. But that's simply not true, and you know it.
Homelessness is most common in big cities and expensive areas to live. The most expensive areas in the country are all liberal. Climate also has a large impact. San Francisco has the highest percentage of homeless in the country because 1) It's extremely expensive and 2) The climate is very favorable to those living on the streets. Both reasons are why California has a large homeless population.
DC is obviously due to the expense and large lower income black population.
Hawaii is probably the same as California.
Nevada is probably due to having the highest unemployment rate in the country.
New York is obviously due to being the largest city in the country, as well as one of the most expensive cities in the world.
Homelessness has little to do with liberalism and a lot to due with populated and expensive areas to live, which just happen to be liberal dominated.

LOL If it has nothing to do with political parties, then why are you referring to the state as "red"? Hmmm? Maybe. because of politics??
This entire thread was started because some libs thought a person's politics, i.e red/blue state, was the determining factor for whether or not people watch porn, teens have sex or married couples get divorced.
Watching some of you trying to make statistical inferences from this crap study is like watching chimpanzees play with power tools.
