Do you ever get out of your house? To imply that there are no angry black women is ludicrous.
No more so than there are "angry white women" or "angry white men" or "angry Asian women" or "angry old white ladies" (which, from time to time, would be me).
We've all encountered people in our lives who have acted out for one reason or another - sometimes it's justified, sometimes it isn't - but to imply that there is an entire part of our citizenship that can be labeled as "angry black women" for no reason other than the color of their skin and the prejudices of people and their willingness to not only buy into racial stereotypes but to promote them as well is quite sickening.

Are you kidding? She'd sit on the couch eating Cheetoh's all day if there weren't some sort of expectation that the First Lady get out and spearhead programs of her own!
And you know this....how?
Have you ever seen her sitting on a couch, eating Cheetos and saying that she didn't want to get out and perform her duties as First Lady?
I respect the fact that you're not capable of judging someone's personality, character, persona, attitude, etc.
And you are?
Judging people whom you have never met in person, who you don't know anyone else who personally knows them, while probably keeping your robe pressed and hanging in your closet, does not make you better, smarter, more insightful, or anything else than anyone else.
First Lady Michelle Obama denied reports of tension between her and White House aides, saying people have tried to portray her as “some kind of angry black woman.”
She just validated a negative stereotype^. Why hasn't anyone pointed that out?
How about just portrayed as angry - why did she have to throw in the race and gender cards. Things like this is why she is also sometimes perceived as racially bigoted.
The media hasn't portrayed her as angry. She has at times portrayed herself that way. It's the image she sometimes projects. She is not well-suited for public life.
Undoubtedly she has had guidance on image, or at least had access to it, like any other first lady. Maybe she doesn't comprehend it, can't master it or simply rejected the advice.

No, that would be Pat Nixon.
