DETROIT, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- A woman is suing a Detroit financial services company for more than $5 million for keeping a half tank of gas from her car when it was repossessed.

Victoria Jean Church-Dellinger of White Lake, Mich., filed the class-action suit Friday in federal court against Ally Financial Inc. for keeping the gas in her 2008 Pontiac G6 when it was repossessed, The Detroit News reported.

Good for her adding to Detroits already clogged judicial system. Maybe she can get the gas back, and we will see her try to sell it on the show Hardcore Pawn

I watch that show until I wind up wishing for some kind of massive gas-leak explosion or crashing meteorite to kill everyone in sight on that show (including the owners and staff). It generally takes about 5minutes.

Can't get any more ludicrous than the people in Detroit can you?

I wonder why her car was repossessed?

Couldn't be because she wasn't making the installment payments now could it?

Seems in Detroit belligerence to cover ones actions is a way of life.......

I'll bet you she's not going to get it. End of story. Stop getting all riled up about what people want.

No problem, just deduct 30 bucks from her mounting debt from the back car payments, interest, penalties, repossession costs, etc.

I'd deliver her gas. It might also contain her engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and engine coolant all in one container. However, she would have to provide her own container for the fluid.
