I get that, but does that mean that we should just lay down and take it?
Did I say that? What exactly does peeing on corpses accomplish in our war on terrorism? They are already dead. All that does is make us look as evil as them, and further encourage them to hate us.
The moral high road would be defending our right to live, without resorting to callous, barbaric actions.
No because they know that America is the greatest nation.
Only if America is governed by fundamentalist Christian laws. Their beliefs are no different than Iran or Afghanistan, they just use a different religion to justify their hatred.
And what makes America the greatest nation? Do you have examples, short of us having the most astronomically expensive military in human history?
There shouldn't be any concern with what they did. A dead body doesn't know what's done to it because it's DEAD. It's not a nice thing to do to a dead body but the stress of war can change people.
The only concern there should be is the fact that it has been shown to the whole Nation/World to see. What I feel for are the relatives who may have seen that on the TV or the internet which brings to mind that it's more important to keep this kind of thing quiet and let the soldiers know they . Really does the whole Nation/World have to know what the hell they did to a dead body.
