So anyone that doesn't agree with your taste in music needs help? I don't happen to enjoy jazz music...should I commit myself voluntarily?

Yea. Pretty much. Immediately.

If you can't enjoy someone's art or music because their political view differs from yours.....I mean really, are you like that. You're a narrow minded person then and that is really sad.

After seeing Avatar I was disgusted with James Cameron. Avatar is nothing more than anti-american liberal propaganda.

Strange. I thought it was just a Sci-Fi movie.

Pretty soon you will be saying that Celine Dion and Vegas acts are lame. You need a lesson in hipness Mr. Miles what's his face.

Their political views generally don't sway me or make me watch or whatever, but I do think that celebrities and other famous folk should really think about wht they're saying when they share a political opinion. Their statements in the public spotlight can convince (and have convinced, I'm sure) people to vote for whoever or whatever the celebrity is voting for... which I find rather sad, because instead of just sharing political opinions, celebrities should encourage people to do their research and vote for who is best for them if they do talk politics at all.

I voted both "no" and "depends, sometimes," since I mostly don't care or even know what their political/personal beliefs are... but in some RARE cases, it might affect my desire to spend money on their stuff. For example, I won't pay money for a Mel Gibson movie ever again - but I'll stop on the TV whenever a Lethal Weapon movie is playing. Those are some darned entertaining movies, so I don't care that he's an anti-Semitic/racist & misogynistic wife-beater when it comes to viewing them for free. I just avoid letting my hard-earned money line his pockets, if that makes any sense.
