It sounds like Obama wants to do away with the legislative branch and declare himself king, kind of like Bush wished to do.

I'm just going to bow out of this saying again, it's pretty obvious (least I suppose in my jaded little world right? :P ) that it's either R.Paul or 4 more years of Obama. The choice is ours.

Ron Paul > Campaign Obama > Romney > Newt > Santorum

My .02 that aint worth .02 on the world market anymore.

I'll also argue to some extent he (Obama) has been intentionally sandbagged a little. Tonight he nailed education, as opposed to saying poor kids can clean schools in place of a grown adult supporting a family.

He nailed taxes, talking about himself paying a fair share and all the BS that the right likes to put around 'class warfare'.

He's also appealing to a MUCH wider group of ideals and principles; As opposed to a group of 3 trying to "out GOP" each other.

All this and more; he certainly made it clear that his administration has done much in terms of foreign relations and implementing military actions that have been successful, ending any doubt that Democrats are weak in those areas. Once again he extended his hand across the aisle, urging the GOP to abandon gridlock and work with him. His new stance on education is iffy territory for teacher's unions, but he advocated his ideas anyway.
And again, he praised the intelligence and hard work of the American people. President Obama threw down a few gauntlets as well.

Wow, Mitch Daniels is crucifying the first 3 years of Obama's failed presidency. Loved the bit about Obama killing the pipeline.

Can Mitch still run for President?

Yep. The sad thing is that there are plenty of sycophants who would like nothing more. Some of them are even on this thread.

Come on Daniels, get it over with. I wanna see American Idol not your boring face. All you had to do was come out and say "no" as that is the Republican position on everything.

It was a very good speech and even though he is so monotone, I enjoyed it because it was so true.

I'm the student, teach me glorious Sensei

40k of 600k apples employes (real rough #'s) work here

86% (or something close to that) of Cokes employees work overseas.

I'll give you one guess, why; It's manufacturing. He was talking about American ingenuity vs American Manufacturing.

Ball is in your court.
