Protecting someones right to verbally heckle & berate a veterans funeral is more important than risking hurting the feelings of judges.

Man Arrested for Wearing Occupy Jacket at Supreme Court - YouTube

We need an occupier judge assigned to the bench. What's the going rate to "install" one?

he did break the court rules that you are NOT allowed to have a sign in the court. he could have taken off his jacket and gone into the court room, but he refused to do that.

Clothing is a sign now? Koolio. Prohibit every G on every gucci hand bag. Prohibit brand names of all things being displayed in court houses. There's an aligator on your shirt, you may not enter.

So free speech isn't only for corporations, eh?

Clothing has always been considered a sign.

It depends on how prone that sign is to cause a disruption whether it's allowed or not.

With the negativism and social activism associated with OWS that should have come as no surprise to anyone except OWs college kiddies and aging hippies.

Based on their past history could security within the Supreme court be certain this OWS protester would remain civil during any hearing?

Hell No, he could have defecated on the floor, he could have urinated on a statue he could have started an OWS chant, who knows?

Well, considering that a Supreme Court Justice is nominated by the President and then confirmed by the Senate, I would say slim to none on paying off enough people to make it happen.

Maybe you should think before you write, and write something that has something to do with this thread.

I do not agree with the OWS movement. But, thanks to our crackdown on journalist; we have now dropped to 47th place in our freedom of press rating: http://www.allgov.com/US_and_the_World/ViewNews/US_Drops_27_Places_on_World_Press_Freedom_List__No w_Tied_with_Romania_120127
