I don't think the military is socialism. The first few weeks however a recruit is informed that he no longer lives in a democracy. More than socialism I found the military to be just that...a military dictatorship. The military doesn't have the economics of socialism unless you think the pay grades do. I don't.

West is your typical example of a loud mouth teabagger airhead.
The guy is a loudmouth clown and a major Uncle Tom.
First person he goes after once he gets in office is Keith Ellison even though Ellison had never done anything to him or said a damn thing about him. He did that crap to ingratiate himself with his white constituency and fellow Republican Congressmen. He wanted everyone to know that he was distancing himself from other black legislators...and picked Ellison to do it instead of a more senior and entrenched legislator that would've slapped him back. So that proved what a coward he is.
Then he makes a sworn enemy out of Wasserman-Schultz, a female legislator, just because she so-called "organized" a protest in front of his district office in Florida. So he's a thin skinned clown on top of it all.
The guy has no future in higher office unless Floridians have become nuts overnight.
Uhh, the "lefties" were for keeping the black man on the plantation. Not much has changed since, figuratively speaking.
Would you like to throw out a few names of who those "lefties" might have been. Fredrick Douglas, Edwin Stanton, William Lloyd Garrison, maybe John Brown???
