A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

No doubt those of the Boot licking anti freedom gimme free **** persuasion wrote these laws

Illinois Constitution Comrades...

i have never seen such aggressive and expensive efforts to take weapons specifically away from citizens. there seems to be a complete deliberate blindness to the fact that its the criminals with guns that need to be disarmed. they keep going after the sheep dog but not the wolf. why? they keep calling it a public safety concern. if so why let gang bangers run the streets heavily armed?

Are you saying that the state cannot determine what it wants or set limits on what it finds beneficial for the residents of the state.

What are you going to do, target or shoot them?
Ah, yes, that's been done.

Im saying these states suck and the original intent of the Constitution was to protect us free people from the Government....

The Bill Of Rights was originally thought to not be necessary because it was universally understood we all have inalienable rights so there was no need...

Wisely the founders recognized the need for The Bill of Rights to protect us from Moonbat authoritarian types that would happily infringe on God given rights...

There are age old laws against murder, robbery assault ect...

Yea I guess "The State" has the right to infringe on inalienable rights if the population is of the bootlicking or bedwetting persuasion...

The propose of this post is to alert freedom loving Americans that it's time to get busy opposing this crap...

Are you saying that a citizen cannot address the issue with their elective representatives? Can you cite a single instance where a gun ban has reduced the level of gun violence in the US? Can you cite where more than a few isolated instances where an assault rifle was used to commit a crime? Can you give me one good reason that the rights of the residents of a state should be restricted?
