So, for those people that will no longer support SGK and actively fight against it, are you just a fair weather charity contributor?

There has ALWAYS been controversy aroun PP, ALWAYS. SBK knew the types of services PP provided, SBK knew that the pro-lifers had a problem with the fund PP received from the government. This wasn't new information. Whats new is the two pro-life executives that joined SBK. I can't believe that a charity that champions women health would bow down to Politics

Did the majority of people even know that they were affiliated. I didn't until now. I think the people that will not contribute to them anymore feel women's health is now political when we should all be standing together regardless if we are democrat, republican, independent, libertarian......whatever. Plus there are other organizations such as the American Cancer Society to contribute to.
I think until now SGK had everyone on board. They've probably lost half their support now and the pink ribbon and their cause has been forever tarnished.

You tell me, why did SBK pull the money?? Komen is for breast cancer research/support, if the money they donate is not being used for this, then what is your answer??

If you were sending your money to PETA to save animals and then found out, they no longer help the animals, what would you do, continue sending them money??

Oh noes!!! Protecting children from a condition that around 80% of all humans end up contracting, and which can cause cancer?? What a horrible, horrible thing to do...

Really guys? Now you have a problem with PREVENTATIVE measures too? Unbelievable.

FYI, they recommend getting that vaccine as young as possible (at the latest by 25, in fact it's not offered to anyone older than that), since again - 80% generally have it by adulthood, most of whom aren't even aware and thus spreading it like wildfire. So I feel the younger the better!! Why on earth would this even be a controversy? Just because it's called an "STD?" Maybe we should change the classification to a communicable virus, and then people would get the vaccine & end it like polio.

Well, that's wise spending, at least you're not willing to give blindly.
They must have some proof, this has been going on for awhile, it's not new.

Aren't you still a teenager? If so, you have NO clue what "simple as that" means when it comes to personal finances and health insurance... a family can make just above what qualifies for welfare - heck, they can even make WELL above - and still not be able to afford proper health insurance. Do you know how much it costs, especially if you have children, a spouse, and/or if anyone in the family has pre-existing conditions? We're talking anywhere from $400-2000/mo, which is hardly "simple as that" for most folks.

Thank goodness I get benefits through my work (with a small fee since I'm not full-time), or I'd be uninsured myself... and I make a decent salary, but 99% of that goes to rent and bills. Ahhhh, adulthood.
