from its membership? And, why did Obama issue an Executive order that unions do not have to share rights with members? These questions are being asked up on Capitol Hill. It would appear unions do not inform their members of their rights.

Default Why should unions be able to force political contributions

Why should corporations be allowed unlimited contributions? (citizens united decision)

Who do unions represent? (working Americans)

They want forced membership to fund their political campaigns but try to play it off as being "pro-employee". Intelligent people see right through their lies.

Nobody is forced to join a union.

The union has contract with the company.

What you want is to be able to insert yourself ahead of workers that have a signed contract with a company.

Basically, you want the company to be able to break it's contract during the contract period. Typical right wing hypocrisy when it comes to breaking promises when it suits them.

If you don't like it, you go work for a group that has no contract with the company.

And for that matter if the company doesn't like the contract they can end it when it lapses.

There is no compulsory unionization in education? Google that and learn a thing or two.

And, how does not being in a union put yourself ahead of other workers? You make no sense whatsoever.

This has nothing to do with breaking contracts. It is obvious you did not watch any of the linked videos nor read the thread topic. Failed hijack attempt.

You should be ashamed of yourself for saying that since you are from Texas.

Go to Laredo, the Rio Grande Valley, hell look at middle class neighborhoods in Houston compared to middle class neighborhoods in Chicago or New York and tell me unions have served their purpose.

No, they represent that union, and it is particularly bad if they are government connected because they are then bribing big government to increase their pay, size and benefit at the cost of tax payers. That IMO is corruption.

How many times do people have to be told that it is a FACT that it is against the law for unions to send membership dues to any political candidate? A million times? The willful ignorance of this subject is tiring.
