You should read the responses in the comments to many of these articles by random supporters. Its blind devotion and some sort of cultist devotion they seem to have. They are going off as if his actions were that of some freedom fighter who took one for the team and furthered the cause.

Notice how the usual soldiers for AGW on this board aren't touching this thing with a 10-foot pole.
Ask yourself - do you really want to have to explain to them that behavior such as this is NOT good, is NOT ethical and is NOT the "norm"?
There are some in the AGW blogosphere who are applauding his actions, others that are criticizing him AND his supporters for what is clearly criminal, unethical behavior.
But this is what the rabid far left environmentalists are all about.
