What Happens When China Stops Buying Our Debt? - DailyFinance

http://g.foolcdn.com/img/editorial/i...easuryDebt.gif

Your grandchildren and theirs will be paying back China for a long time.

How much are the American National Forests worth in timber and water rights to China?

How about mineral rights in Idaho and Montana?

It is imperative that America keeps China happy or else they may issue Americans an invoice!

We can give them Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma and about 13 other useless places. Basically about everything between Illinois and Nevada!

The way I understand it, the debt the Chinese have is like shares in a corporation so if America struggles, they do as well. The last thing they want is for us to pay them back.

China needs us a lot more than we need them. A trade war would be devastating to China while only moderately harmful to the US.

The last thing they want is four the US to default on that debt too as that will leave them with nothing. Don't look now but China is undergoing their own little housing crisis and things aren't so ****** dorey over there like the communist supporters around here think it is.

Texas would likely go to mexico. I agree with above just sell the southern states to china, mexico or wherever else, build a wall, and then prosperity would skyrocket in america.
