Well, race mixing was communism back then. I'm sure many around would still love to re-live that era.

So you prefer flash mobs, sky high crime etc etc...everything that has come with giving black folks "equal rights". I say it gave them free reign to destroy themselves and they did a damn good job of it unfortunately the bad ones are taking down the ones who are actually trying to make a living for themselves and destroying everyone's America as we once knew it.

Understand it Yes,Do I care no. Nope didn't enter my equation. They may have more rights now but look at the decay of society? 1950's everyone was respectful of each other look at the country now...you like what you see? Like I said earlier there are people to be obeyed and those that do the obeying.Obviously we see which fits where.

With the exception of civil rights, the 1950s were an indisputably better time for America. The economy was booming, crime was lower, families were closer, etc. Those days are really gone forever though. Some things are better especially if you are a minority but most things are worse today than they were then.

The top marginal tax rate in 1950 was 91%. Today it is 35%. Feel free to actually learn what you're talking about before posting again.

Maybe the OP is advocating for the top marginal rate to rise to 91% again.

In the 1950s there were no personal computers, no internet. You could only viciously argue about politics, religion, and social issues in person with your brother-in-law, the barber, your neighbor. Now we have City Data!

Jim Crow, KKK, and no voters' rights certainly showed that everyone was respected.

And now we have riots and sky high crime and over all a ****ty country. Laws like that kept people in their places. Crime was low, families stayed together, the fabric of America was still in place. Believe it or not a lot of old blacks hate this new America as much as I do.
