TRENDING: Rush Limbaugh joins Twitter

Posted by
CNN Political Unit (CNN) – Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio host who launched a firestorm earlier this month by calling a law student derogatory terms, joined Twitter Thursday.
Tweeting at the handle @Limbaugh, the host began his foray into the social networking site by sending out links to articles criticizing the liberal group Media Matters.

I have total respect for someone that will call a spade a spade.

I have no respect for a national media that is willing to suggest Bristol Palin is promiscuous, when this law student admits her own guilt in testimony before committee. Afterwards, the media only screeches like a banshee to the ones who call her out for what she admits that she has done.

Well, her behavior is one thing. Fine. I could leave that alone. But her insistence on state funding?! Pure bullcrap!

Huh? What are you ranting about?

What does any of your post have to do with Rush Limbaugh just joining tweeps on @Twitter?

Default Lady Gaga leads Followers Total on Twitter

Big question? Will Rush Limbaugh get anywhere near the 18 million or more Followers Lady GaGa has...to his NEW twitter account?

I think it's good that he's branching out into new media. Twitter is a good first step toward his soon to be launched for-pay internet streaming web show.

He'll pick up hundreds of thousands of followers from the left alone since they're obsessed with every word that he says. It's good to know that Rush makes money off of the idiots who hate and stalk him.

Rush just joined TWITTER.COM (See Thread starter commentary) yesterday afternoon...and tweeted just 2 times...and already has over 112,000 Followers. Yeah, I think he'll reach a Million by the week-end.
