Doesn't it depend on what the laws of a nation are. I am sure some people loved Germany in the 1930's but questioned the laws being enacted and enforced.
Isn't it rather dangerous for a society to just follow laws without question. Surely people have the right to protest against laws they disagree with, it's called democracy.
Since you surely "love" America so much, I guess that means you support Obamacare, environmental protection laws, abortion laws, hate crime laws, civil rights laws - they are, after all, the laws of America, so you can't hate!
I just wonder why many conservatives hate America so much.
None of the above are Constitutional, except for civil rights laws.
I love my country enough to serve. I have bled for my country several times. I earned the right to disagree with laws that politicians impose upon us. I earned the right to disagree with DC. Most importantly I earned the right to question the motives and the veracity of every elected rep.
If I opt to leave this country that I love enough to die for it will be because I can't bear to see it ruined by party hardliners.
Love it or leave it????
Totally bizarre statement. Of course someone can love this country and disagree with the government serving and the laws they pass when this government and their legislation are so very far away from the US Constitution.
By "Laws of America", I was referring to the Constitution.
No! You are not a person who "loves" America if you hate the laws of America.
Love it or leave it!
This means YOU!
Do you love your spouse even when you dont like some of the things they do?
