I never claimed it made a difference, I only made the observation that it is curious. You would think it woud be something to boast about, not hide.

Honestly, I think the President - whoever it is - has so few islands of privacy that he likely fiercely defends those bits he can keep as his own. It's only human nature. In this case, "fiercely defending" consists of not giving permission to release records.

I can understand keeping family matters private. Educational excellence is a different matter all together. It doesn't add up.
Who claimed anyone was entitled to anything? It is simply curious that he is spending such a large amount of money keeping something secret that in all probability should be an asset. It makes no sense.
Not if his records at Harvard indicate he was a foreign exchange student.
What articles did he supposedly write? He was the editor. Editorship is different from authorship.
It was just an honorary title, doesn't mean he did squat.
