From Wall Street to Hollywood, from doctors and lawyers, the traditional big sources of campaign cash are not delivering for the Obama campaign as they did four years ago. The falloff has left his fund-raising totals running behind where they were at the same point in 2008

Hmmm....after three years of hearing that profits are evil, success is "luck," and anybody who has anything obviously stole it from the poor, then no wonder it is a little harder to get money on a voluntary basis from those who have it.

Quite true. He spent the last year bashing those with money.
And now they won't give him any.

If it takes a billion dollars for The Won go become The Won II I sorely fear he may never make it. This really excites me.
Considering he had to outspend his opponents 50:1 to win among his own party, he'll need to raise somewhere north of $50 billion to win the White House.
No surprise, the man is an utter failure. I think it is instructive to note, the Obama defenders do not tell us how great he is, only how weak the Republican candidate is. This guy is in serious trouble, his own supporters can't defend him on policy.

Contradiction to what I just read...
OBAMA RAISED $46M IN MARCH | POLITICO (http://mobile.politico.com/iphone/story/0412/75410.html - broken link)
President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign in March raised $46.4 million and spent $37.7 million — not including money raised with the Democratic National Committee, new federal campaign finance filings indicate.
That easily exceeded what presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney generated for March — $12.6 million — while still facing a stiff primary challenge from Rick Santorum, who’s since dropped out.
Hmmm... I read the very same thing as post #9. Yes! Obama is in with a chance.
