I don't support the rhetoric which Nugent used and think he is a poor representative of the Obama opposition, but his views of the president are spot on.
But he's not as despicable as Clinton was, by leading anti-war demonstrations in a foreign country while US troops were fighting to contain communism. Of course I realize many of you would've favored capitulation to the Soviet Union, but that's neitherr here nor there.
Obama is a lying failure, but that doesn't mean I'm going to vote for a republican, especially one like Romney.
Yea, i favored capitulation to the Soviets.....which is why i joined the Army during the Cold War. (lame)
Clinton was leading anti-war demonstrations in a foreign country? Which one?
And yea, you're gonna vote for Romney. Gimme a break.
He avoided the draft but the term draft dodger is a term assigned to those who legally never showed up to selective service.
and that is your definition, for others what nugent did absolutely falls under "draft dodger". without an exact legal definition it's a completely subjective term.

IMHO he was as high as a kite in that interview.
unlikely. from the excerpt:
" I was extremely antidrug as I’ve always been, ...."
( i find a bit of ironic comedy between that and that the cover featured jonny rotten, another person who is anti-drug ).
I saw Stevey Ray and Nugent, who do you rate as a better player.
Saying Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ted Nugent in the same sentence should be illegal.
I've never seen a poll in which Nugent was even ranked in the top 50 greatest guitar players, let alone in a league with SRV. Nugent is a decent at best guitarist.
Folks that know good guitar players will agree, I'm sure.
