Well, if it's all right with all concerned, I'll hoist a few to commemorate the liberation of my fair home country back in 1945.

It's also the anniversary of Napoleon's death.

GOOD KARMA?
The depth of rightie logic is always good for a laugh,
eg:President Obama is doing something on May 5,
Karl Marx was born on May 5
Therefore President Obama must be a Marxist.

RCCCB, with that logic whatever you are doing on May 5 would also brand you as a marxist.

It was a small skirmish! Go ask a Mexican what "Cinco de Mayo" means to them and don't be surprised if you get a puzzled look!
Oh well--it's still fun here!

Saturday has nothing to do with it.

Where did the President "borrow" his new slogan from???

That should give you a very good clue why he chose THIS DAY.

It's Obama's hero day!!

This day also happens to be Cinco de Mayo day. I wonder if he can win any Spanish speaking votes from the day.
