Here's a report you will not find at Fox. The family that built TBN into the world's largest and wealthiest christian TV network is experiencing family feuds. Read about the luxury they enjoy from donations and all is tax exempt!
Read about the multi-million dollar mansions and corporate jets.

The people (fools) that donate their money to these religious organizations surely don't learn.

This makes it very clear that religion is nothing more than a money making scheme and demonstrates why it should be taxed at an extremely high tax rate. Religion should be taxed at an extremely high tax rate because it contributes absolutely nothing to our society. People who sell drugs on the street have more honor and credibility than the typical person associated with a religious organization, yet our prisons are full of drug dealers.

On another note, the biggest crime in all this is that asinine Holy Land Theme Park.

How soon before a wingnut claims a "class envy" motive for this thread?

Sounds like tax fraud and abuse of a charity to me.

That would be one too many.

I recall listening to a radio preacher in the south once, every third sentence was capped off with a lyrical but assertive, "SEND MONEY". Never could understand why people are so stupid.

I've never understood it either but I know people who can hardly get through a day without their daily dose of TV religion.

Then there is the "Church" of Scientology that rakes in multiple millions from its devotees and they don't spend a dime on TV. And Scientology is not run on "donations"; those people have to PAY for what they get. Scientology is more like a college where the "students" pay for their courses. Yet, our tax and other laws allow them to be organized as a "church".

The entire system needs reorganization but I have no idea where to begin or what to do.
