Marine Vet Arrested at Wisconsin Labor Rally Speaks Out

Without being told what I had done, I was handcuffed and escorted off premise. Placed in a squad car and taken to a police station. I asked if I should have my rights read to me and was told “You’re not being arrested.” My personal property was taken from me, I was fingerprinted, mug shot taken and locked in a dark jail cell (lights off) still handcuffed.

I sat in that jail cell, looking out of a meshed wire window, at a large American flag flying in the background. Where am I? How can this be happening? What did I do wrong? I prayed for strength.

When I swore the oath to protect and defend the Constitution, I never realized until recently, how vulnerable our precious freedoms actually are.

Listen and watch those anti-Walker liberals support that veterans arrest.

No matter what you think of the Wisconsin recall, if you condone what the police did in this video - you are SCUM.

Guess he needs to listen and comply when told to do something by police. Guess they were nicer than a contingent of secret service people would be.

How come that always seems that when a person like this breaks the law there is always an American flag right outside the window? The way i hear it is that in jail there are very few windows.

I smell this part is just made up.

It appears to me that law enforcement created whatever scenario they deemed necessary to remove the 1st Amendment Right from the arrested Citizen. Said law enforcement actions convince me that Wisconsin is a place to avoid at all costs.

And I have officially relinquished all interests whatever I may have had about being a Green Bay fan... forever.

"when a person like this breaks the law".

Please o' enlightened one, what law did he break.

He had THE SAME RIGHT EVERYONE ELSE THERE HAD.

If they are to remove him, they needed to remove everyone else.

'I smell this part is just made up". Right, and fox smells his own hole first.

I'll be sure to keep you in mind as this evolves.

Gotta luv these ppl that think they don't have to comply with orders from a police officer. You'd think a marine would know better.

If the police asked him to do something, he failed to comply. It is not up to us to decide whether to comply with a police officer's commands, if they ask you to move, move.
