Been there , seen that.

Makes no difference, abortion is legal and necessary and won't go away whether it's legal or not.

Now ,here's a question for you:

Why do you think "murder" should be allowed if the pregnant woman was raped or the pregnancy was the result of incest?

An abortion, or whatever you call it, is abortion.....the actual act of an abortion doesn't change because the situation of conception was different.

They are no more children than Terry Schivo was a person anymore. When there is no brain actiivty its not a person. Sorry its like showing photos of a cut off arm. Its gory but not a human being. If you showed photos of cancer cut out of a human it would be disgusting but its not human. Your just a lost idiot. Abortion is legal and with Obama getting a second term, we will get a supreme court that will uphold Roe V wade. LOL its going to be here for ever. suck it up.

Most of those were late term abortions, which are already illegal in the US unless it is to save the life of the mother. Even then most states require two doctors approval for the procedure. About .01% of all abortions is in the third trimester.

Quote:
91 percent are performed during the first trimester (12 or fewer weeks' gestation); 9 percent are performed in the second trimester (24 or fewer weeks' gestation); and only about 100 are performed in the third trimester (more than 24 weeks' gestation), approximately .01 percent of all abortions performed.
And it's even from one of your trusted sites. FOX
Fast Facts: U.S. Abortion Statistics | Fox News

The average gestational point of abortion is 9.5 weeks.

I'm a liberal and I'm also prolife. Abortion is pretty much a non partisan issue. The right makes noises about being prolife but it's just a ploy to get the Christian vote. When they are in power they do very little about ending abortion.

OP why do you assume pro-choice supporters don't know what abortion is, or what it looks like? It has been my experience that most pro-choicers are very well informed on the subject.

I am "Pro Life" -- I personally do not believe in abortion (my decision is of course easier because I am a man and will never be in the position of a woman faced with pregnancy), but believe it should be legal, safe, and rare.

But I'm TRULY pro-life, because unlike conservative hacks, I think that life TRULY begins after birth, and want to see resources, programs and efforts focused on helping mothers and families raise healthy and productive children who have a real chance in life.

If all the money spent trying to make abortion illegal were diverted to abortion alternative education, childcare for working women (economics is the #1 concern of mothers who abort), etc. etc., conservatives might actually make a difference.

But no, much better to be a complete @ss and post photos of aborted babies to try to make a point. Too much lack of imagination, intellect and moral courage among self-proclaimed "anti abortionists!"

And 1/4 of all abortions in the US are done by a pill. That isn't even counting the morning after pill.

Again, from FOX
Quote:
Roughly a fourth of American women getting early abortions last year did so with drugs rather than surgery, statistics show, as a new study reported improved safety in using the so-called "abortion pill."
