Obama needs to get government out of the way and create a business friendly environment.

He ain't sending that message.

That Is His Fault.

And U6 unemployment rose from 14.5% to 14.8% in May.

There has been no austerity whatsoever.

It's time to cut the spending. And end NAFTA but all Obama is doing is expanding it and encouraging more illegal immigration.

Here in NJ it's 9.2. I don't know what the actual rate is including those whose benefits have run out.

Only the Krugman Keynesian Klan would ever believe that what we're experiencing now is in any way, shape, or form "austerity".

Didn't you get the memo? It's been changed to "Fear and Smear."

Even President Clinton is on to the harm in Obama's anti-business streak:

Also, I've heard that not all stretches of UE are bad. One guy I know who was laid off bicycled cross country and blogged/photographed it. When he explained his UE stretch to the employer, he was immediately hired based on character and will of completing the journey alone.
This is a lie.

There is no skill crisis. We had full employment 6 years ago. What makes things different now? And to add, tons of educated people are unemployed.

I have not seen one unemployed person in the comp sci or engineering field in this immediate area, even the ones over 40 or 50.

Many who are unemployed are in construction and finance. They simply aren't needed when an artificial housing bubble is popped and the Wall St. derivatives/hedge fund casino shutters. Also, the overwhelming amount of UE are 20 somethings who wasted their 5-6 years in college and have paper degrees in areas no one has a demand for.

Shadowstats shows about 23% which is so far removed from the official number that it isn't funny anymore.
Exactly. There are so many unemployed that don't get counted, for various reasons.
