To replace the word "stupid" with the word "gay" is an insult to gay people. Do I go around saying "wow that's so straight"? No.
I also don't use the phrase "that's retarded" either.
"That's so gay" expression has been around for a long time and has NOTHING to do with homosexuals. It means "that's stupid"
