Obama's campaign denied that Obama joined the New Party. That's not an outright lie. He didn't join the New Party. He didn't join the New Party. He didn't join the New Party. He received an endorsement from the New Party. It's like a union or a veteran's group or the Friends of Mike group endorsing a candidate. The candidate doesn't have to be a member of the union, or a veteran, or a Friend of Mike to receive the endorsement. However, the group offering the endorsement does expect the candidate to take their concerns into consideration.

What's new is that this is 2012, and opponents of Obama are willing to throw old mud as well as new mud in their efforts to smear Obama.

Default Was Barack Obama a member of the Chicago New Party?

I think that some very good proof, like the secretary's notes of the party has been dug up and it seems that Obama did belong to the New Party. It seems that the party's records have indications that he joined in 1996, which would have been when he was running for the State Senate of Illinois.

The best part of all this is that the New Party was the political arm of ACORN. Does anybody remember ACORN and what they did where politics were involved?

Here is some very interesting reading about that time which does show that according to the New Party's records Obama was a member. I am sure that everybody here knows what the New Party of that period was and what it stood for.

We'll certainly know when it is shown he signed documents aligning himself with their goals.

Fascinating how Kurtz was unable to come up with any.

Links?
And if they came to light, would you care? No. You people will back this man no matter what.

Leaks of secrets from the WH you nor the media care

Fast and furious and an incompetent crook heading the DOJ you nor the media care

Solyndra debacle you nor the media care

Bribe of Wright by Obama associate nothing to see here

One thing after another, and you people look the other way. And frankly, you should be damn ashamed of the media for refusing to do its job and demand answers and accountability.

If they don't, will you?

I tend to not get excited about unsupported allegations and wild speculation.

Here's the difference. Some care to find out the truth. You dont, especially if it hurts your dear leader. You are quite happy knowing the media looks the other way as this Administration can basically do whatever it pleases.

Meanwhile, the NYT has a cover story about how some of Romney's neighbors....GASP ...........dont like him! Oh the horror!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about desperation. The war on ______ isnt working so they grasp at straws.

Maybe you haven't seen any of this from Kurtz. I bet you wouldn't admit it if you die, but let me try.
