Senate panel approves airline security fee hike - Yahoo! Finance

We pay enough of these taxes every time that we fly. The better option would have to been to cut the budget of the TSA or dismantle it altogether.

Really? and what would you say if you got on a flight with the "shoe bomber"? Those $2.50 extra wasn't worth it?
You should be complaining more about what a cocktail costs in first class instead.

Like they've already detained so many terrorists since 9-11. The TSA is just a fear machine to coddle the sheeple that line up to be strip searched at will.

Third paragrah says it all. Failed before and little chance of passage again.

TSA didn't stop the shoe bomber nor the underware bomber,...angry passengers stopped them. Americans have learned to ignore the government's former advice to cooperate with terrorist hijacking planes and ships. We're now fighting back as we should have done a long time ago back in the 1970s and 1980s. I'm proud to say I never voted for this spoiled rotten brat. Her father ran New Orleans from the mayor's office and from the judge's bench. Now his two children have benefited from his local political clout. Here's two children born into a rich and powerful family, the silver spoon in mouth types and surprise surprise, they're Democratic party members. Anyone care to place bets on if Congress adds an exemption for themselves if this tax passes?
