Exactly, the OP's opinion seems to be that analog signals are somehow a protection against manipulation of the video signal which is false because it can be digitally manipulated anywhere along the chain prior to transmission whether it's analog or digital transmission.
Actually, I think he is really just pointing out that digital makes it easier, which it does. Digital makes any "compositing" much easier and more exact.

We are discussing transmission of audio visual content, not what the content contains or whether it was manipulated.
I think some instruction on the differences between digital enhancement, or digital alteration, vs digital transmission is necessary.

It wasn't a story that the mainstream kept up. They got caught and apologized for the "White" Zimmerman, the touched up photos, and the old photo's of Trayvon looking like an innocent 14 yr. old.
