Google reports 'alarming' rise in government censorship requests - CNN.com

It's not transparency, it's anti-transparency.

Google can only put up the good fight for so long folks. Eventually they WILL get to Google and they WILL get what they want.

I think they should have to get a court order like any other serch based on proable cause. Pretty easy when its posted. If charge are warranted then file them.

A single request by the government for a private organization to suppress information that is flowing is an example of treason by that government.
