Venus has a nice shirt sleeve climate where it is 900 F in the shade and the air is like being a few hundred feet under the sea surface. Lovely place that Venus and it never rains either !

And people wonder why many do not think global warming is real.

So humans caused venus atmoshpere to do what it did? Did we actually land on venus and not the moon? Is that the big coverup? It must be. We left that four wheel drive buggy up there and destroyed venus. Damn humans.

Based on what?

It's been many times higher in the past when the Earth was much greener.

Like Nitrogen, Phosphorus, H2O and sunshine, green plants and trees need CO2 to facilitate healthy growth.

More CO2 in the atmosphere simply means plants will grow faster.

Plants may not grow faster many familiar plants would be losers in the great survival game. Higher levels of CO2 and O2 would make it possible for insects to super size and get to the stature they once had and is still waiting in their genes waiting to be switched on. Just think of 12" cockroaches! Another animal might also super size we know then as birds. They might regain their former stature. How about a 30 ft tall meat eating chicken otherwise known as T. Rex. The code for Mr. Rex is in a humble chicken if it is activated! The only creature who might not be so well off is Man since high levels of CO2 may cause blood poisoning. Man might be an epic fail in the brave new world where we have a Jurrassic atmosphere.

Humans had nothing to do with the run away greenhouse on Venus but Venus is a warning. Two planets made of the same stuff and in the so called habitable zone of our modest star ended up so different. A study of what a runaway greenhouse on Earth might be like indicated a surface temperature of 450-500 F and an atmosheric pressure of 50-70 atmospheres where the principle greenhouse gas would be steam itself. We would have to leave such a world to where god only knows. We have discovered over 2500 planets but not one Earth-like.

Average global temperatures in the Early Carboniferous Period were hot- approximately 20° C (68° F). However, cooling during the Middle Carboniferous reduced average global temperatures to about 12° C (54° F). As shown on the chart below, this is comparable to the average global temperature on Earth today!
Similarly, atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the Early Carboniferous Period were approximately 1500 ppm (parts per million), but by the Middle Carboniferous had declined to about 350 ppm -- comparable to average CO2 concentrations today!
Earth's atmosphere today contains about 380 ppm CO2 (0.038%). Compared to former geologic times, our present atmosphere, like the Late Carboniferous atmosphere, is CO2- impoverished! In the last 600 million years of Earth's history only the Carboniferous Period and our present age, the Quaternary Period, have witnessed CO2 levels less than 400 ppm.
This is an interesting read.

Has anybody ever studied that? Is there a happy balance the earth dances with? It is not a static measurement no matter how much the global fools act as though it is. Hell these fools didn't even include water vapor in their original modeling so I doubt it. No they want to prove the boogie man is going to kill us all.

Now back to your NOAA and your unheard of co2 measurements. lol

The sahara desert was once a sub tropical paradise 5K or so years ago. You either move on or die. Animals seem to figure it out but global warmers can't. I wonder why that is?
Isn't that cute you're trying to sounds all smart.... Well obviously the optimum temperature, gas mix, etc. is what we have now considering our population and infrastructure is heavily built along the coasts. I'm sure it will be cheap and easy to move the hundreds of millions of people and trillions worth of infrastructure....

And of course people have studied all those questions you asked, how about using the internet to found your answers?

Send me a batch of whatever you been smoking.

Yes, let's stop global warming before we become dinofeed or worse.

Think I will keep my SUV.

Wow, neat how the facts for an era gone by are chiseled in stone from an air bubble encased in a little chunk of ice from ONE spot on earth 800,000 years ago.

Good thing no animal farted when that bubble formed or they'd be chiseling 'methane dominated the atmosphere' 800,00 years ago.

Major groan.

I question that science has all the facts.
