4 kicks to the head can absolutely kill somebody so I agree...
But yea, getting the license plate doesn't fly in the face of the fact they videotaped the whole thing. Sure, it's evidence and might lead to an arrest and conviction. But if the dude was dead what would tht have mattered when they could have stopped the whole thing.
Definitely cowardly....stuff like this is fast becoming mainstream entertainment for people.

The one man hollering perhaps approaching seems to have been enough to make them leave in a hurry and sensible enough to get the license plates so I would give some credit

You don't have to be a tough guy to intervene when you are with your friends. Alone, yeah, but with friends is a much different story. I tell you what, I wouldn't film some unconscious guy laying on the street, that is for sure.
