I see this all the time but have yet to see someone post a reputable link to the Irani government actually stating their purpose is to wipe out Israel, all we see is Iran saying something like they be happy to see the end of Israel, NOT the same thing as saying "they" will wipe Israel off the map.

BTW, Khruschev said the USSR would bury us, somehow we survived without believing that saber rattling hyperbole launching some ill-advised knee-jerk attack on the USSR. Any reason to believe Iran is any different?

The middle east will never be stable. The nature of the culture is they just love to argue- with each other or anyone else that wants to partake. Iran having a THEE all mighty bomb is fair...Kind of like the right to bear arms in America on an international level- That every nation has the right to have that big slugged out shot gun by the door. Now if everyone had the bomb..would it bring about respect? Look at America- everyone having a gun has not worked out well...No one is


going to over throw a corrupt government any time soon.

If Iran had the bomb- what corrupt government would they over throw on a global level? OR would they become like AMERICA picking off fellow citizens? Would Iran be like this and pick off fellow citizens of the world with sniping that consisted of small nuclear strikes?



Here is the problem- I believe that everyone is entitled to have a nuke- or everyone including super powers get rid of all nukes. Iran has a major illness- that some of them at the top of the heap pretend to be religious people ...who supposedly are righteous..but are just like all those who take power- common gangsters...so the question is...Should the gang with the machine guns allow the upstart gang on the block to have but one machine gun?


AWH why not...can't be listening to Israel all day long about their lack of skill in diplomacy hidden behind some myth that everyone hates the Jews...Israel has some nukes and good delivery systems- even if Iran got the bomb and an accurate way to deliver the device...Israel would still manage to get enough launched to utterly destroy Iran..Iran knows this...so does Israel- and mutual destruction would be the out come of such a tiff.

That has to be the stupidest scenario ever.

What moron would test and waste a perfectly good uranium gun-device?

When you're using spherical or linear implosion, you must test-detonate the design, because there is no other way to know if it will work, but the you only use spherical implosion or linear implosion with plutonium. Iran has no plutonium. Iran is not producing plutonium, and the IAEA report proves that beyond any reasonable doubt, and even if it were true, it wouldn't matter, because Iran has no way to separate plutonium.

I would remind all of you that India never tested its uranium nuclear warheads. It only tested it's plutonium designs, the first being around 1974 or 1975.

The US never tested it's uranium nuclear warheads. Trinity was a spherical implosion test, not a gun test.

The only reason Pakistan test-detonated its uranium device was to let the rest of the world know it had one. That was more for propaganda purposes than anything.

North Korea also test-detonated its spherical implosion design (with plutonium -- thanks to Blow Job Bill Clinton).
