Hannity is a moron. An exception to the rule about Libertarians...uh hey douche bag. I don't do drugs and I don't want to do drugs but I still think people should be free to smoke weed if they want.
I listened to him a few times years back, I hated how he would always say "You're a great American, sir' even though I am one of if not the most patriotic member of C-D.
Also, I am not trying to be rude but I don't like his forehead
Yes I'm with him on Presidential Power and civil liberties but he's a flake when it comes to his economic libertarianism.
None of these libertarian jokers can ever point to any real world success stories of their economic polices making things better.
You really need to be an ungrateful, greedy jerk to deny a basic social safety net for citizens.
Safety nets were not designed to be a way of life; rather, they are designed to catch a person who may be injured in the process but won't end up splattered. One is supposed to hit the safety net and get out quickly, place their feet on the ground, and move away from the net ASAP.
I'd say the ungrateful, greedy jerks are the ones who choose entitlements as a way of life. It is they whom are stealing the fruits of the labor of others. It is they whom hog the net, fill it up, and make it less reliant for those who follow by just laying there instead of picking themselves up and moving on.

That's the problem with entitlements and social spending programs. They may be designed with the best intentions, but once the gates are opened they quickly spiral out of control because freebies get votes. Nobody gets elected by promising to take things away from their constituents.
Welfare wasn't meant to be a lifestyle. Social Security was not designed to be a retirement package. However, that's what they've evolved into and now these entitlement programs are the biggest expenditures our government has to deal with -- and they're only growing larger.
The left is in serious denial about the effects and drawback of offering so many handouts. They enable the lazy, they reward those who shirk responsibility and they discourage planning for one's personal future.
Should we offer safety nets for those who are truly down on their luck? Of course, but there's a huge difference between helping those who need it and enabling those who refuse to help themselves.
That interview was on Hannity on May 23...just sayin'
