I keep hearing and reading that Obama's policies are making unemployment stay so high and that Romney would have fixed everything. Well I don't understand that. EVERYONE's economy is doing horrible since 2008. I looked up other countries unemployment rates and guess what? They ALL increased in 2008, stayed steady and slowly decreased...exactly like we are doing. Some others are still increasing. Am I to assume that ALL these countries are run by idiots and are running the same policies? No, of course not. This is just one of the worst economic periods right now.

So what are you saying ? Obama's not to blame for being a complete failure at leadership and has no business experience in how to improve the economy ?

The man lacks the skills to get this country working. He does have the skill to promote free benefits to others so that you and I pay for it.

Time for a new President.

No exactley. Look at the one European country (hint, Germany) that practiced austerity, and you will see a dramatic drop in unemployment.

Also, the leaders in Europe have been getting tossed out of office when re-election time comes around. I expect nothing different here.

What I'm saying is that every established country is nearly the same performance as the U.S. I fail to see how anyone would have done better.

Things Obama could have done?

1. Shut down the Endless Wars, and stop bleeding cash, resources, and troops.
2. Start to Take US Off Oil -- at least for Transportation. Using the stimulus money for that (instead of retarded stuff like patching 50 year old highways) would have covered that.
3. Trust bust the AMA, Pharmco, and the Insurance Industry to drive down Medical Billing Pricing (instead of trying to force everyone to buy the over-priced insurance for the over-priced billing).
4. Forced Trade Balance with Import Tariffs on imbalanced trade.

and for good measure:

5. Let the Big Banks fail and replace them with small and medium sized community focused banking.

That would already have US back up straight.

Uh, Sweden. You missed Sweden.

Can Obama Learn from the Successful Economies?

Will Obama learn from Sweden? Will he learn from Canada? Or will he cling to the European socialist economic model that is currently failing?

Sweden

Anders Borg
, Sweden's finance minister, reduced Sweden's deficit and created economic growth. There is one thing that Borg did: "Since becoming Sweden's finance minister, Borg reduced the size of government and cut taxes. His 'stimulus' was a permanent tax cut."

Can Obama learn? Of course not, he's to stupid to learn much of anything. Having never worked in private companies this man is beyond stupid and hopeless yet so many think he is the second coming of the Messiah.

The whole world's economy is crashing. And you think think Romney is the answer...why. I'm probably alone in my thinking, but why do we always blame the president for our economy. Why isn't the governor of each state responsible as well. I mean isn't that part of their job.
