It doesn't take a law degree from a prestigious university to make the assumption that his lawyers were very much against this. But....he did it anyways.
I think he probably is a racist. A hispanic who doesn't like or respect blacks. That it's been reported he's not very bright, well ... that just adds fuel to the racist fires within him.
The real racists who thought of this as a racial thing from the beginning will never change their minds. To them, everybody who doesn't agree with them is a racist.
