They were mentored by Communists. Not saying they themselves are card carrying commies, but it helps to know just who influences and mentors one in their positions.
I just heard recently about this Frank Marshall Davis guy. I find it rather disturbing that the media dug back into Romney's past on a "bullying" incident, a story that went national, yet have they bothered to mention Frank Marshall Davis? The man was a well known commie and was on a list to be arrested should we ever have gone to war with the Soviet Union. He spent years shaping Obama's mind. Why does it take a professor to tie all the pieces together? Knowing this now, its obvious what draws Obama to people like Axelrod and Jarrett. They grew up being molded by the same type of people. I think it is much clearer now, what drew the Obama's to a church like Wrights and to start his political career with Bill Ayers.
The professor who researched for this book, also brought to light some far left commie paper Davis wrote for. What was surprising, or not very, is that many of Obamas words and views were shared by Davis. Rather astonishing how close their ideas are really.
If you dont see this as a bid deal, that is your opinion, but I find it appalling for the media to have ignored it. Not one of the members of our media have ever asked him about it. Apparently Obama even mentioned Frank numerous times in his book.
Obama called himself a 'blank screen' onto which anyone could project their preferred interpretation of him. Even after 3.5 years it's still tough to interpret him.
According to what Stanley Kurtz has written, Obama decided to link up with Trinity United church because he thought it could provide an alternate power base to the Chgo Dem machine. He didn't want to join the machine. In other words, when he started into politics he was still a true believer. And in his college days he was a pretty radical leftist.
As president, we haven't really seen much of the radical leftist side of him, but OTOH he never has said that he evolved away from his earlier beliefs, either.

I wish to God our media wasn't mostly liberal treasonous hacks. This should've been reported on and Obama should've been asked about his mentors and influences when the facts show he was raised by far left people and mentored by a famous commie.

hardly infuriated. Just would like to know just what the prez stands for, and what he's about. It is lefties who are constantly overwrought emotionally, lashing out, convinced that they got a raw deal, etc.
