OK, history major, sex between members of the same sex WAS illegal in most states for most of our history. While we're at it, let's prohibit the sale and consumption of alcohol, too! And rescind the vote for women and bring back slavery. Oh yeah, and only white male landowners of more than fifty acres can vote. Hell, let's go all the way back and ask the English monarchy if they want us to tear up our Declaration of Independence. If we're going to go backwards, let's do it all the way.

Honestly, I don't understand how some people can be so willfully ignorant. Gay sex isn't the issue when its comes to HIV, unprotected sex is.

It was a huge mistake not to isolate people infected with AIDS when it was first discovered. Even now there should be a law requiring people infected with AIDS to be registered with the government in order to protect public health. After all, if you can force people to buy medical insurance you can force people with AIDS to register with the government.

Yes, and it's more readily solved by forcing all males wear chastity belts. That ought to make the right to life crowd happy. Right?
